“Since 2010, I’ve had the honor to serve as Howard County’s Register of Wills. For over 14 years, it has been my mission to provide compassionate and professional service, implement meaningful reforms, advocate to make probate in Maryland more efficient, less expensive, and more equitable for families, and be active and engaged in our community. I’m proud to say I’ve never wavered from my mission and have followed through on the promises I have made to the people of Howard County.
Every day, my staff and I help people who need someone in government who understands and cares about what they’re going through - the death of a loved one - and guide them every step of the way. From the feedback we’ve received from members of the public and attorneys across Maryland, the transformation of this office since my tenure began is a success story - whose future will be even brighter with continued, reliable, effective leadership.
I continue to fulfill my promises of service, advocacy, and engagement, and am happy to share some reforms I’ve successfully implemented and some ambitious works in progress. While some politicians get elected and become complacent, I hit the ground running and I’ve never - and will never - slow down or waiver from my mission. To read more about what I’ve done and what I’m working on, visit the other pages on this website or follow me on social media.
Thank you and I look forward to the work ahead.”
